Shalom brothers and sisters, I will continue right where I left off from in my previous note on this matter, of Satan being the head angel over music. As you have seen in my last note, that such a teaching is false doctrine, so shall I further confirm that to be so in the revisiting of Ezekiel 28:13 but now through verse 14. So lets dive right into the book of scriptures.
Question: What did the Most High say Satan was, did he say he was head angel over music?
Ezekiel 28:14 - Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
FYI: The cherubs were placed on the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant, in which from Ezekiel's vision one can label them as divine beings that shadowed the throne of the Most High. They were referred to in the book of Hebrews as "the cheribum of glory" or "cloud of glory", which upon them the visible glory of the Most High rested. That visible glory of the Most High upon the cherub shinned his wisdom, his power, and his excellency, they held that office of being such by the anointing of the Most High. They were placed on each end of the mercy seat, with wings stretched upward, and their faces toward each other and toward the mercy seat. They too were anointed with holy oil, like the ark itself and the other sacred furniture. They represented the spiritual existence in immediate contact with the Most High, thus on the explusion of Adam and Eve, they were assigned to prevent all access to the tree of life, and to form the throne of the Most High in his manifestation of himself on earth. So the Most High dwelleth between the cheribum, he sitteth upon the mercy seat, which is symbolical to him in the heaven of heavens sitting upon the throne, with the angels on the side of him.
FYI: So from this you now know that Satan held the office of an anointed angel that was on the side of the throne which the Most High sitteth upon. Which by the precept saying - I have set thee so, is the Most High saying you didn't get that position by your doings, but rather because I appointed you that position. Satan forgot that while he was getting big headed and feeling himself, in which through being in that position, the Most High would use him to exercise his power, as a shield, and as a protector of the people. This also explains how come Satan knew that the Most High had a hedge around job, and about his house and about all that he hath on every side, because he was one of the angels who the Most High used to exemplify his power as a shield and as a protector unto the people through. So Satan was once on the holy mountain of the Most High, for he was on the level of heaven in which the Most High dwells on. Precept goes on to say, thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire, lets get a couple of precepts so you can understand that clearly.
Exodus 24:10 - And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
FYI: So upon the holy mountain of the Most High, under his feet the pavement was, like unto pavement of sapphire stone. So when Satan was up there, he walked on this pavement of stone. What does the other precept say - Exodus 24:17 - And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. So walking on this pavement of stone in the sight of the Most High which was like a devouring fire, is how he did as the precept said, which was walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. So now you have a clearer understanding on Satan's position in heaven of heavens, but let me give you a deeper understanding concerning his position, cause he was more than just an anointed angel. Lets revisit Ezekiel 28:13 that I got into in my note a few days ago.
Ezekiel 28:13 - Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
FYI: Do you know that these are the same stones that the Israelite High priest wore in the breastplates of judgment? Yeaaaah, now you stratching your head like hold up wait a minute, does that mean what I think it means? Lets get some precepts to prove that these stones were in the breastplates of judgment of the High Priest.
Exodus 28:15 - And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment with cunning work; after the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine twined linen, shalt thou make it.
Exodus 28:16 - Foursquare it shall be being doubled; a span shall be the length thereof, and a span shall be the breadth thereof.
Exodus 28:17 - And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this shall be the first row.
Exodus 28:18 - And the second row shall be an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
Exodus 28:19 - And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
Exodus 28:20 - And the fourth row a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be set in gold in their inclosings.
FYI: Looks like Satan's true anointed position was more than just being an angel, but more like an anointed High Priest who covered the throne of the Most High as stated in the 14th verse of the book of Ezekiel chapter 28. So when Satan fell to a lower level of the heavens, he lost that position, and you know who came along and filled that position?
Hebrews 3:1 - Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Hebrews 9:11 - But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
FYI: The High Priest of the Levitical priesthood, passed through the first tabernacle to the Holy of Holies, now Christ being our High Priest, passes through a greater tabernacle that is not made by the hands of men, but rather is everlasting. So Christ alone atones for our sins, and as the High Priest before offering incense had on common garments of a priest, but after it wore his holy garments of glory and beauty in entering the holiest, so Christ entered the heavenly holiest in his glorified body. So as you can see, Christ is greater than any Levitical High Priest and is greater than Satan, for at no time while Satan was beside the throne of the Most High was he ever called a Son, but Christ was, and at no time did the Most High tell him "Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool". So now you can also understand what Hebrews chapter 1 was talking about.
Question: What was Satan called?
Isaiah 14:12 - How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
FYI: Satan wasn't called the Son of the Most High, but he was called the Son of the Morning, morning what, Star. Now what was Christ called - Hebrews 1:5 - For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? Christ was called the begotten of the Most High, thus making him the Son of Power, so in the filling of Satan's position, what was Christ called - Revelation 22:16 - I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. So Christ filled his position, took his access to the throne away from him, so in doing so, Satan can no longer go up before the throne of the Most High accuse other angels of things. The High priest made atonement for the sins of the people, he was a form of intercessor who had direct line of communication with the Most High, just as Satan did when he was a High Priest who beside the throne aka mercy seat of the Most High.
FYI: Lucifer aka Heylel, means light bearer, so with the truth being the light, it was Satan who was suppose to bring the light aka truth unto mankind. He messed up, so who was Christ - John 1:9 - That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. Why you think the precept said "that was the TRUE light", who else was the light bearer other than Satan? Exactly, so now with Christ being in position, what is he - John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. So now you should no longer be fooled by the doctrine of man when they use Ezekiel 28:13-14 to claim that Satan was head angel over music, cause no you know the truth, be free brothers and sisters, shalom.
